What if you could drive a mainstream vehicle packed with features that make it feel like a luxury vehicle, all at a non-luxury/mainstream price? The 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature is making that a possibility. When compared to the 2020 Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD, the 2020 Mazda CX-5 holds its own, and checks many of the “luxury boxes” that usually help boost vehicles into the luxury category. Take a look at the specifications that help take The Most Powerful CX-5 ever to the next level all while leaving the 2020 Infiniti QX50 looking for a way to keep up.
When it comes to performance both the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature and 2020 Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD have power under the hood, but the Mazda CX-5 has a little more power with it’s new and improved engine. The 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature comes standard with a 2.5L Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. This powerhouse produces an outstanding 250hp and 320 lb-ft of torque when paired with the standard 6-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile the 2020 Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD comes standard with a 2.0L VC-Turbo I4 Cylinder Engine. This engine produces 258hp and 280 lb-ft of torque when paired with Continuously Variable Transmission. Despite not being classified as a luxury vehicle, the fuel economy for the 2020 Mazda CX-5 is neck and neck with the 2020 Infiniti QX50. You can expect up to 27 MPG on the highway in the 2020 Mazda CX-5, and up to 28 MPG on the highway in the 2020 Infiniti QX50. (Sources: mazdausa.com and infinitiusa.com)
The design features on both the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature and Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD help deliver a quality ride, but once again it’s the Mazda CX-5 that stands out. The Signature Interior of the CX-5 is designed to indulge the senses of both drivers and passengers. You’ll find numerous premium design touches that scream luxury, including: Genuine layered wood trim, Caturra Brown Nappa leather seats and ambient cabin lighting. The Interior of the Infiniti QX50 is a very calming space that includes: Leatherette-Appointed Seating, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel and Shift Knob and Aluminum Interior Trim Accents. There is room for improvement in the QX50 as it includes a large amount of “Nissan” like interior design features. (Nissan is the mainstream sibling of Infiniti.) This yet again shows how the CX-5 Signature can be a more convincing luxury vehicle despite being classified as a mainstream vehicle. On the exterior you will find LED Headlights with signature lighting on the 2020 Mazda CX-5 while the 2020 Infiniti QX50 comes standard with Automatic On/Off LED Headlights. On the road the CX-5 delivers a silky smooth ride with standard 19 x 7-Inch Aluminum-Alloy Wheels, while the QX50 comes standard with 19 x 7.5-Inch, Split 5 Spoke Aluminum-Alloy Wheels. From its interior to its exterior the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature provides more of a luxury feel than the Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD.
It’s easy to stay connected in both the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature and the Infiniti QX50 LUXE AWD, yet again the CX-5 includes features that make the mainstream SUV feel like a luxury SUV. Everything you need is a tap or voice command away in the CX-5, it comes standard with: an 8-inch full color touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay® , Android Auto™ , Bose ® 10-speaker audio sound system, Bluetooth ® hands-free phone and audio capabilities, Auxiliary audio input jack and 4 total USB inputs. While the QX50 is the luxury version here, some of its features don’t measure up to the CX-5, including: 6-Speaker Audio System, Infiniti InTouch™ Dual Display System Screens. Apple Car Play® and Streaming Audio via Bluetooth®. With advantages in performance, design and technology, the Mazda CX-5 is a much more convincing luxury SUV than the actual luxury SUV, the Infiniti QX50.

To make a long story short, I researched the car I wanted and went to "my" dealership I have been going to for years. While I was on my way to the dealership, Ken called from Gillman. I told him was on my way to "My" dealership and was most likely going to come home with a new car. Well, the situation went left when I got in the finance office and of course I left. Nonetheless, I was sad the next day but I knew "my" dealership would call me back on Monday ...
After a few months of car shopping at numerous dealerships I quickly remembered why I don’t like buying a cars. This car purchase was for my mom and I went to many dealerships with her and we had a deals on cars to buy then in the final paperwork after 2 hours showed a cost 15-25% more because of dealer add on’s.. so frustrating. I was very skeptical sending my mom to the wolves with out being there and started talking to Hasan Majied at team Gillman Mazda about a Mazda CX-5 they had. I was crystal clear with ...
I have purchased so many new and used vehicles and this is my first time to purchase at this facility. Not only did my rep greet me at the door, he made sure I was comfortable before starting. Kendrick listened to exactly what I wanted and he made it happen with ease. I was out within 1 hour and I have never met a more efficient team. I will see them in 2 years for my next vehicle. awesome team Mr ...
