What’s New for the 2026 Mazda CX-30
December 10 2025 - Team Gillman Mazda

The Mazda CX-30 is designed for those who enjoy adventure. These fun-to-drive smaller SUVs pack so much sophistication and performance while turning heads on the road.

For 2026, the CX-30 continues to offer more than any vehicle in its class. That starts with standard i-Activ all-wheel drive, a feature that makes driving in our unpredictable weather worth the peace of mind. You can get your 2026 CX-30 with one of two Skyactiv-G engines – a 186-horsepower 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder or the 250-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard on all 2026 CX-30 models.

You have a choice of six 2.5 S models and two Turbo models. The CX-30 2.5 S offers more than most of its competitors. It starts with a new brake Limited Slip Differential, made to improve traction and stability. Updated dampers for the suspension improve ride quality. Also standard is G-Vectoring Control Plus and Off-Road Traction Assist.

Every 2026 CX-30 is equipped with i-Activsense, our comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance features. These features include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Brake Support, High Beam Control, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Rear Seat Alert, Vehicle Exit Warning, Driver Attention Alert, and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Mazda Connected Services is complimentary for one year with every 2026 CX-30. Features include the ability to check your vehicle remotely through the MyMazda app. There is also an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot connection good for three months or a 2-gigabyte trial, whichever comes first.

For those who want more style at an affordable price, the 2.5 S Select Sport adds exclusive Ceramic Metallic Paint, a set of 18-inch black metallic-finished alloy wheels, and heated black door mirrors. This trim level adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities to the 8.8-inch infotainment screen, which is controlled by Mazda Connect.

The 2.5 S Preferred model gets the larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, wireless phone charging, a power-sliding glass moonroof, silver roof rails, and leatherette seats. The new-for-2026 Aire Edition adds gloss black badges, black metallic 18-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and side mirrors. The interior offers white leatherette upholstery with gray cloth inserts for that airy feeling inside your CX-30. The Aire Edition is also available with the Turbo engine.

The 2.5 S Carbon edition returns for 2026 with Polymetal Gray exterior paint and a red leather interior. A Bose 12-speaker audio system is also standard on this model. At the top of the naturally aspirated lineup is the 2.5 S Premium. It is now offered with a heated steering wheel and a 360-degree View Monitor. Also included in the 2.5 S Premium is the Active Driving Display, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Active Front Lighting System.

One of the two Turbo models is the 2026 CX-30’s top-of-the-line trim, the Premium Plus. Wearing gloss black exterior badges, the Turbo Premium Plus adds SiriusXM satellite radio, an auto-dim driver’s door mirror, and Cruising and Traffic Support.
