The Mazda CX-90 continues to bring families together in comfort and style. It also offers a choice of drivelines that make driving fun. For 2026, the three-row CX-90 offers even more with a few additions to its lineup.
The 2026 CX-90 is all about choice. There are nine trim levels available with three distinct drivelines. It starts with the perfect combination of performance and efficiency in the 3.3 Turbo in-line six-cylinder engine. It puts down 280 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque on regular 87-octane fuel. To make things more efficient, this engine has M-Hybrid Boost, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system designed to improve efficiency while boosting low-end performance. The result is an EPA estimated 23 MPG city, 28 MPG highway, and 25 MPG combined
As Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid, the combination of a four-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a 17.8-kilowatt-hour high-capacity battery produces 323 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque when using the recommended 91-octane premium fuel. It is also capable of driving up to 26 miles on battery power alone.
The 3.3 Turbo S puts down an impressive 369 pound-feet of torque using the recommended 91-octane fuel. That low-end power makes highway driving anywhere a powerful experience.
You can get a new Premium Sport exterior option on 3.3 Turbo S models that adds dark contrast exterior trim. Already a choice on 3.3 Turbo and PHEV models, you can ride with a cool vibe along with the more powerful 340-horsepower Skyactiv-G in-line six-cylinder engine. Premium Sport models not only add darker trim on the outside. Mazda Intelligent Drive Select – Mi-Drive – becomes standard, giving you a choice of pre-set driving experiences with Off-Road and Towing modes. If you want a cool color to go with your CX-90, Polymetal Gray Metallic is a wise choice. You can select this color on all trim levels.
Alexa has been added to the 2026 CX-90. This system features more hands-free connectivity to your compatible home and devices, adding more options to the full-color Mazda Connect infotainment system screen, which has been improved since the introduction of our three-row SUV.
Each trim level has a full complement of features that are made for drives with the family. Select models can seat up to eight people, with the second and third rows accommodating up to three people each. Stepping up to the Preferred trim, you get a larger set of wheels – from 19 inches to 21 inches. Your 10.25-inch full color infotainment screen is oriented north to west, 12.3 inches diagonally. You also gain a power sunroof and leather seating.
The 2026 CX-90 can tow up to 5,000 pounds, depending on driveline. Getting you to where you need to drop off the trailer is Mazda Online Navigation, with over-the-air updates. A power panoramic roof, a Bose 12-speaker audio system, and a head-up Active Driving Display are among the upgrades you will find throughout the model lineup.
For the last word in luxury, the Premium Plus coddles you with Nappa leather seats and available second-row Captain’s Chairs.
All 2026 CX-90 models are equipped with the i-Activsense safety suite of driver assist features. That includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring with Vehicle Exit Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning System with Lane-keep Assist, and much more.
